Arrival to Amsterdam

The 8 hr flight was a little bumpy for the first few hours for Heather. Kim did not even notice - smooth sailing for her. No sleep and two movies. She enjoyed the down time. Heather tried to block out all motion, noise and light. She slept for a maybe a few hours.

Thank goodness we got cash, euros, and ruppee at MSP airport. Not all places "swipe" American Express. Some only use "chip" technology. We've figured it out with help from nice people. :)
Our luggage is stored in a locker at the airport. We made it through Customs and bought train tickets into Amsterdam Central Station.

It's great to be outside in the fresh air. It's cloudy, windy and 55F. We walked 1.7 miles to the Anne Frank House. We stopped to enjoy the views of the canals and watching all the people riding bicycles!

Now we are waiting in line to get into the museum.
